Description

1. It is important to use a suitable universal catalyst. The choice of the universal catalytic converter depends on the cylinder capacity, the power and the emission standard.
2. Make sure the universal catalytic converter is installed in the same place as the OE catalytic converter.
3. If the universal catalytic converter is shorter than the OE catalytic converter, try to keep the starting position and add a length of pipe to the missing part.
4. The original positions of the lambda probes must be preserved.
5. After mounting the universal catalytic converter, the exhaust system must be checked for leaks.

The universal tuning catalytic converters are developed on the basis of motorsport catalytic converters. With a cell count of 200cpsi these catalytic converters are the right building block for self-designed exhaust systems. The streamlined cones ensure optimum flow of the catalytic converter and contribute to the best possible performance. We meet the required AU emission limits and can also be used on vehicles with EOBD control.

The catalytic converters must be approved by an officially recognized expert as part of a vehicle use permit in accordance with § 21 StVZO. The individual acceptance (scope, process, costs) must be discussed in advance with an officially recognized expert on site. You are responsible for adjusting and installing the catalytic converter.
